Mrs. Fryer
Welcome to a new school year at Warner Girls’ Leadership Academy! I’m Mrs. Fryer, your child’s 4th grade teacher. I’m excited to begin this journey with you and your Wildflower.
My goal is to create a supportive, engaging classroom environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in fostering confidence, independence, and a love for learning in every student.
Supplies
All classroom supplies are provided.
✅ Each student must bring a clear book bag labeled with their name.
Optional donations: disinfecting wipes, tissues, or foaming hand soap.
Please keep basic supplies at home (pencils, crayons, glue, paper, scissors) for homework.
Daily Expectations
- Arrival: Doors open at 7:45 AM for breakfast. Please ensure your child arrives on time, dressed in uniform, and ready to learn.
- Technology: All cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, and earbuds must be turned off before entering the building. Phones will be secured in a Yondr pouch during the school day. Personal devices are best kept at home to support focus and learning.
Birthday Celebrations
To support equity, accommodate food allergies and dietary needs, and protect instructional time, individual birthday parties and treats are not permitted.
🎉 Birthdays will be celebrated with a birthday tiara and pencil to make each child feel special.
Dismissal Procedures
- Dismissal Time: Starts promptly at 2:25 PM and ends at 2:35 PM
- Early Pick-Up: Not permitted after 1:30 PM
- Dismissal Changes: Must be communicated by a parent or guardian, either in writing or directly to a staff member.
Communication
We’ll be using Class Dojo as our main communication tool. Please stay connected for updates, reminders, and messages. I look forward to partnering with you to make this an amazing year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fryer
