    Welcome to Warner Girls' Leadership Academy, the proud home of the WGLA Wildflowers! Our vision is to inspire the next generation of young women to become confident, competent, and compassionate leaders who will make an impact on their community and beyond. Our mission is to cultivate personal growth, leadership, and achievement. During a visit to our school, you will see over 400 WGLA Wildflowers in grades PK-8 proudly adorning our school colors of purple and red.     Opened in September 2007, the Warner Girls' Leadership Academy is one of only five single-gender public schools in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and one of only two all-female Pk-8 schools. We are housed in a well-maintained state-of-the-art building labeled to reflect our all-female and/or gardening school themes:

    • 25 Classrooms and Encore rooms named after women's colleges across the United States
    • Cafeteria and Auditorium: Gar-café-torium (Garden Cafeteria, and Auditorium)
    • Gymnasium: Gardenasium
    • 2 Science labs: Greenhouse 1 and Greenhouse 2
    • Playgrounds: Arboretum (1-6)/ garden yard (PK-K)
    • Hallways: Ivy Vines
    • Restrooms: Flowerpots
    • Office: Main Garden Center
    • Media/Community, College, and Career Center: Orchard
    • Planning Center: The Wayward plant center
    • Art room with a Kiln 
     
    WGLA has a team of dedicated and passionate educators, a network of district and community partners, and a multitude of engaged families. The Warner Girls' Leadership Academy is committed to providing a safe, caring, and challenging educational environment that promotes learning and achievement for all girls.
