Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to 2nd Grade, Room A139 Bryn Mawr College!
My name is Taylor Leffel, and I will be your child’s second-grade teacher. I am so excited to work with you and your child! It is going to be a great year filled with fun, learning, and lots of adventures! I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. I am married and expecting my first child at the end of August. I am hoping to start the year with your child but it is possible that we may not meet until I return from maternity leave. I am the middle child and have 2 brothers. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Some of my favorite things are music, spending time outside, my pets, traveling, and lots of coffee.
This will be my third year teaching at Warner Girls’ Leadership Academy and my second year teaching 2nd grade. I was the Reading Intervention teacher when your Wildflower was in Kindergarten. I am excited to see many familiar faces! I look forward to working together and communicating with you throughout the school year about your child’s learning styles and habits, academic goals, successes, and challenges. I will also keep you informed of what we will be doing in the classroom and any important dates or information. I will keep you informed through class dojo, phone calls, and notes. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need! I look forward to a great year together!
