Empowering Young Women to Lead with Confidence and Purpose

Dear Families, Friends, and Future Leaders,

Welcome to Warner Girls’ Leadership Academy (WGLA)—a vibrant community where young women are empowered to grow, lead, and thrive. Since our founding in 2007, WGLA has proudly stood as a beacon of excellence in public education. As one of only five single-gender public schools in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District—and the only PK–8 girls’ school on Cleveland’s east side—we are uniquely positioned to nurture the brilliance and potential of every student who walks through our doors.

Our modern, state-of-the-art campus reflects our deep commitment to providing a safe, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment. At WGLA, we focus on developing confident, competent, and compassionate young women who are ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

Serving approximately 350 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, our school offers a rigorous academic curriculum enriched with opportunities in the arts, athletics, leadership, and character development. Our dedicated educators, engaged families, and strong community partnerships work together to ensure that every girl is supported, challenged, and celebrated.

We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our programs, achievements, and how to become part of the WGLA family.

If you have any questions or would like to connect with us, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Main Office at (216) 838-8950.

    Warm regards,
    Kristel Wilkins
    Head of School
