School Performance
The School Performance Office has the overall responsibility for designing the CMSD’s school performance framework and data analysis. It also disseminates the interim and annual school performance reports, does progress monitoring, and conducts analysis. This information is used by the District to make key portfolio planning decisions.
The School Performance Office also conducts the School Quality Review process, overseen by the Executive Director, providing a critical perspective on current school quality for all students. The process includes two days of collecting evidence on site followed by a prioritization session on the third day. This review assists in identifying which opportunities for improvement are most likely to impact student achievement, and thus high priority. Schools are provided with a written report of their review.
