Suite 1771Janee' Moss, M.EdThe Office of Academic Resources is charged with the responsibility of administering grant-funded programs to support instruction and raise student achievement to prepare our scholars for the competitive world by providing schools with high quality resources and support using a data-driven approach to guide schools through continuous improvement. Additionally, the department provides school support services through the selection of external partners, textbook management, grant management, Student-Based Budgeting(SBB), Academic Achievement Plan (AAP) management, professional development opportunities, and resources that are aligned to district and building needs.The Office of Academic Resources is under the umbrella of Federal and State Programs. The office ensures that the federal and state entitlement programs are administered properly. Maintaining compliance and management through the district’s Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP) and providing oversight of district and school funding allocations. These programs are designed to support the education of our economically disadvantaged students. Economically or educationally disadvantaged persons are those persons placed at special risk by socioeconomic and educational background. Economically disadvantaged persons include those persons who struggle to provide necessities for themselves and their families or communities.
