CMSD has made real, measurable progress. Many of our scholars are thriving, and we value the trust the community has placed in us to ensure every student has access to quality education no matter what school building they attend.

We have too many school buildings for our current enrollment, and they are expensive and inefficient to staff, operate, and maintain, diverting resources that should be focused on education and instruction.

Together, we have the opportunity right now to address a challenge that has been weighing us down for decades.

Now is the time for all of us to work collaboratively to make smart decisions on how to invest our resources to protect the public’s investment in our schools. We can’t shy away from tough decisions because the stakes are too high. This is about ensuring our students have EVERY chance to build a brighter future.
