Use of Personal Information
CMSD does not collect personal information unless given voluntarily by sending us an e-mail, participating in a survey, or completing an on-line form or application. Personal information submitted will not be transferred to any non-affiliated third parties unless otherwise stated at the time of collection. When a user submits personally identifiable information it is used only for the purpose stated at the time of collection. For example, our Online Job Application is stored to provide you and our Human Resources Department access to the account. Any information collection on this Web site is only used for District purposes.
Parents with minor children under the age of eighteen years of age must give parental consent on a media release form. The media release form allows parent(s) to consent to the photographing, videotaping, and publishing of a child’s writings, quotes, photographs, video, image or likeness on the Web or other publications. Parents have the right to revoke in writing a previously granted consent.
When submitting an electronic mail message (email), the message usually contains your return email address. If you include personal information in your email because you want us to address specific issues or concerns we may use that information to respond to that request. Since e-mail is not always secure against interception, you should only send information necessary to process the needed request. Information sent via e-mail will be forwarded to the department or individual(s) who can address your request or concern.
