8/23/2019 -- Say Yes, the nation’s fourth community chapter of Say Yes to Education, provides tuition scholarships and support services that keep students on track to high school graduation. 6/18/2019 -- Anne Priemer and Chris Jenkins are saying “I do” and have asked guests at their celebration to “Say Yes” – as in Say Yes to Education. In lieu of gifts, the couple’s invitations encouraged guests to donate to Say Yes Cleveland, the newest affiliate of Say Yes to Education.
5/17/2019 -- CMSD is entering another graduation season, but this season is unlike those that went before it. The Class of 2019 is the first whose graduates can qualify for Say Yes to Education scholarships, which cover gaps in tuition after deducting federal and state aid.
5/1/2019 -- Megan O’Connor-Martin, a College Now Greater Cleveland advisor based at the John Marshall Campus, said the designation of Cleveland as a Say Yes to Education community had created a surge of interest in going to college. Say Yes Cleveland is providing scholarships that fill gaps in tuition at public colleges, universities and Pell-eligible certificate and training programs throughout Ohio and more than 100 private institutions across the country.
4/24/2019 -- Say Yes Cleveland has selected the first 16 CMSD schools to receive services that will help students stay on track to graduation and Say Yes scholarships. The 10 PreK or K-8 schools and six high schools were selected from among 29 schools that applied to be in an initial cohort. All CMSD schools will have core services by the 2022-23 school year.
