Laura Fogarty is a Policy Research Fellow through a Cleveland State University (CSU)-CMSD research partnership. She is a second-year student in the Urban Education doctoral program at CSU with a specialization in counseling psychology. Previously, she received an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from CSU, as well as a B.A. in Psychology from Ursuline College, and an A.S. in Human Services from Lakeland Community College.
She conducts psychotherapy and psychological assessments at a community mental health center two days a week. Some of her research so far has examined diversity in academia, patterns of local housing discrimination, and childhood attachment style.
Through her fellowship, she has been engaged in a wide variety of projects with the Research & Evaluation department as well as CUE, and looks forward to continuing her work through this partnership.
