Elisabeth Davis Ph.D

Davis Elisabeth Davis is a senior researcher at AIR. Dr. Davis’s expertise includes college access and readiness, experimental and quasi-experimental design, and quantitative statistical methodology. She has collaborated on several projects in a variety of roles since joining AIR.

She leads applied research studies and technical assistance projects, most recently as the principal investigator of the IES funded Researcher Practitioner Partnership grant, the Cleveland Partnership for English Learner Success.

From 2014-2017, she served as project director for an ongoing school climate survey in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, which surveys over 20,000 students at multiple time points during the school year. She now serves as an advisor on this project. Dr. Davis participates as a member of several cross-REL working groups, including English learners, social emotional learning, and accessing and assessing evidence, and is a certified What Works Clearinghouse reviewer for group design standards, version 3.
