CMSD’s long-term facilities planning process – known as Building Brighter Futures – enables the community to strategically invest in our schools, ensuring access to high-quality education in buildings fit for our scholars.
With Building Brighter Futures:
- EVERY CMSD high school offers college credit and pathways connected to good jobs.
- ALL K-8 schools offer at least one additional class like band, choir, or computer science.
- MORE athletics and clubs will be available at all schools, such as basketball, chess, or robotics.
- 100% of students learn in warm, safe, and dry buildings.
- Wraparound supports continue at EVERY school, with a focus on mental and physical health.
