Introducing the Finance Ticketing System for system issues, we will begin utilizing it (effective immediately 10/4/2024) to streamline, organize, and improve our Workday service management processes. This transition is part of our ongoing efforts to establish SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure effective documentation.

Aligned with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) foundation principles, the Smartsheet ticketing will provide a structured approach to managing incidents, service requests, and change management. Key benefits include:
- Enhanced Transparency: All service requests and issues are logged, tracked, and visible to relevant stakeholders throughout the entire resolution process in real time.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Resolved tickets will automatically move to a change log that will capture and document detailed records of each ticket, from creation to resolution, ensuring a full audit trail for future reference and compliance.
- Efficiency in Incident Management: this central platform will allow for quick identification and escalation of critical issues and improve overall service delivery.
- Improved Reporting and Metrics: With reports and dashboards, the systems team will be able to analyze trends, identify recurring issues, and continually optimize our processes through actionable insights.
