CMSD Step Up To Quality Preschools

Cleveland Metropolitan School District has many high quality 5 and 4 Star rated programs. We believe that children’s learning is enhanced through play and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Our general education preschool program is a full day program and provides a free breakfast and lunch.

Our preschool program provides a strong foundation of early literacy, social-emotional and math skills. Our program implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum that is aligned to the Ohio Department of Education’s Early Learning and Developmental Standards: physical well-being and motor development, cognition and general knowledge, language and literacy development, approaches toward learning and social and emotional development.
