BCA: Board Organizational Meeting

Policy

In compliance with the law, the Board meets during the first 15 days of January of each year for the purpose of taking action on matters of annual business, including fixing the time for regular meetings to be held at least every two months. The Board Chairperson canvasses the new Board prior to December 31 of each year to establish the date of the organizational meeting. The Board Chairperson is appointed by the Mayor pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 3311.71(B).

Notification and conduct of the organization meeting shall otherwise be as they are for regular and special meetings.
