Policy
The District is permitted to expend public funds to offer non-salary benefits to employees, Board Members, and/or other persons in furtherance of a public purpose provided such expenditures are within the limits of budgetary allocations and are not circumscribed by Federal or State laws. In accordance with this authority, the District may provide meals and/or refreshments at meetings, formal and informal, of District employees, Board Members or others which further the objectives of the Cleveland Municipal School District.
