Policy
The District provides equal educational opportunities to all students.
The District respects and protects students’ right to be free from discrimination based on age, citizenship status, color, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital or parental status, military status, national origin, pregnancy and related conditions, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, or any other characteristic protected by law in:
- All decisions affecting admissions
- Membership in school-sponsored organizations, clubs, or activities
- Access to facilities; distribution of funds
- Academic evaluations
- Any other aspect of school-sponsored activities
The District bases any limitations to participation in a school-sponsored activity on criteria reasonably related to that specific activity.
