GCN: Evaluation of Staff

Policy

Annual evaluation of professional staff is essential to ensure that all staff are working toward established district goals and objectives.

The Chief Executive Officer institutes and maintains a comprehensive program for the evaluation of staff professional personnel.

The purpose of professional staff evaluations is to assess the performance of administrators' staff and to provide information upon which to base employment and personnel decisions. In addition, evaluations should assist administrators' staff in developing their professional abilities in order to increase the effectiveness of the District management.
